Completed over the course of a year and a half while in the depths of the internet dating scene. Enduring a fruitless, frustrating search for a soulmate, I had the good fortune to meet Karen. I had stared at the half completed canvas with its closed fist salute for at least a year. The floaty, stenciled squares represented the digital, cold quality of the various dating sites I belonged to. After meeting my future wife the open hand and feather were added, in short order. While admiring the resolved canvas, my nephew , Zak, declared, "It's Rock , Paper, Scissors.." The title stuck.
